Cherry Varieties

 We grow both sweet and tart, sometimes  called "pie" or "sour" cherries.  Our cherry harvest often begins near  the middle of June and concludes the first week in July.
 

Sweet cherries are very susceptible to cracking of the skin when they  are near maturity and they are wet for an extended period of time.   Minor cracks do not affect the flavor of the fruit.  We try  to eliminate fruit with major cracks from your purchase.
